ISACA®’s Academic and Workforce Development Program and the ISACA Foundations are building a diverse and inclusive cyber workforce.
The Digital Trust Workforce Inclusion Program, in partnership with the Caterpillar Foundation, will provide learners from underrepresented populations with a pathway into the field of IT. The program is available to adults seeking to enter the IT workforce in nine United States cities:

Atlanta, Georgia
Athens, Georgia
Fargo, North Dakota
Griffin, Georgia
Miami Lakes, Florida
Tucson, Arizona
Sumter, South Carolina
Winston-Salem, North Carolina

As the demand for capable and qualified IT professionals continues to grow, so do opportunities. ISACA’s industry-recognized curriculums, credentials and training put candidates in a position to stand out to potential employers and fill in–demand roles.
Through the Digital Trust Workforce Inclusion Program, eligible participants can access ISACA CET credential to help them launch and future–proof their careers:
Emerging Technology Foundational Certificates help you develop knowledge and real–world skills in four in–demand domains of Emerging Technology. Learn, practice and validate your ability to perform technical tasks and advise on topics in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Internet of Things. Stack all four certificate programs to achieve the Certified in Emerging Technology™ (CET™) certification.
Opening new career pathways for under-represented and underserved populations
The Digital Trust Workforce Inclusion Program helps fill the growing IT workforce gap by providing training avenues to underrepresented and underserved populations. Nine cities in the United States have been selected as sites for a two–to five–month in–person training program. A total of 135 students will receive critical training in emerging tech.
Workforce Grant Offerings and Availability
Each of the nine cities will train a cohort of 15 students in CET.
What the Training Program Includes
The Digital Trust Workforce Inclusion Program provides an innovative, collaborative approach in cyber skill training, including:
- Weekly in-person classes facilitated by ISACA–certified industry experts
- Job readiness workshops
- Certification exam prep
- ISACA Foundation continuing education stipends for select participants who complete the program
- Career fairs with local corporations and academic institutes Access to ISACA resources and training
Participant Requirements
Participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have an interest in a career in IT or cybersecurity
- Reside within commuting distance of one of the nine cities designated for training
- Identify as a member of the underrepresented community (this may include race, gender, ethnicity, veteran status, etc.)
- Submit a completed application
- Have access to a computer with a reliable internet connection
This program does not require completion of high school or college.
